All features within the house, including the up and over doors, were upgraded to the very latest standards, allowing members of the public to see and experience just what\u2019s available today for their homes. This included doors, windows, locks, alarms and secure external bike racks, all of which carry the police-approved Secured by Design standard.<\/p>\n
This facility has the honour of being the first of its kind in the country, and the reported benefits of the Safe House are extensive.\u00a0 Members of the public are invited to visit the facility at any time, where an officer will be present to answer any questions and discuss what\u2019s been fitted in the property.\u00a0 This makes it the ideal place for the public to get reliable crime prevention input, information and advice, straight from the police, as well as it being a superb demonstration of how to keep homes safe from burglars.<\/p>\n
